Goal: get rid of all your cards. The last player still holding cards is the durak — the fool.
36-card deck (6 to Ace). Everyone gets 6 cards. The card under the deck sets the trump suit.
The player with the lowest trump attacks first, against the player on their left. (Next games: the previous durak is attacked first.)
Defending: beat each attack card with a higher card of the same suit, or with any trump. Can't or won't? Press Take and pick up everything.
Throwing in: once a card is down, every attacker may add cards whose rank is already on the table. Max 6 cards per bout (5 in the first), and never more than the defender holds.
When everything is beaten and the attackers are done, the cards are discarded into the discard pile and the defender attacks next. If the defender took, they skip their attack.
Transfer rule (table option, on by default): before you beat anything, you may add a card of the same rank as the attack and pass the whole pile to the next player — you become their attacker. Only allowed if they hold at least as many cards as the pile would then have (and the pile stays within the 6-card / first-bout 5-card cap). Transfers can chain.
After each bout everyone refills to 6 from the deck — attackers first, defender last.
Once the deck is empty, players who run out of cards are safe. Last one holding cards loses.
Controls: drag a card onto the table, or click it. As the defender, drop your card on the card you want to beat — or drop a same-rank card on the open felt (or select it and press Transfer) to pass the bout on. Buttons appear for Take / Pass / Discard.
